Lyle Smuin - Pelicans Landed

A pod seen at sunrise on White Lake in April 2024. The image finds the birds still in the shadow of nearby hill as the golden reflection of early morning sun on the slopes in the background, light up the lake behind them. The effect of the blue shadow on the birds makes this image stand apart. This image would look good on metal plate or as a print on canvas or cotton.
